Treat yourself to a zero-calorie Apricot Spritzer. This perfectly refreshing beverage gets even better with a twist of lime and a sprig of mint.
I have a habit. I collect SweetLeaf Liquid Stevia flavors like some women collect shoes and like a shoe-aholic I am not always thinking straight when I make a purchase. Take this Apricot Nectar flavored SweetLeaf Liquid Stevia for example. It sounded delicious, but when I got home I had no idea what I would do with it!
This week I finally broke into the bottle. My usual routine after a long day is to enjoy, in peace and quiet, a glass of sparkling water laced with a few drops of SweetLeaf Vanilla Creme Liquid Stevia. The other night I changed things up a bit (watch out!) and used the Apricot Nectar flavor in place of the Vanilla Creme. Was it ever refreshing! And with a twist of lime and crushed mint, even better!
Apricot Spritzer
Pour over ice and mix.
Sparkling WATER
4-6 drops SweetLeaf Apricot Nectar LIQUID STEVIA
Twist of LIME or lemon
Crushed MINT (optional)
Enjoy! For extra “wow,” freeze chunks of apricot in the ice cubes.
For anyone trying to kick the soda habit, give a mix of sparkling water and any one of these SweetLeaf Liquid Stevia flavors a go (and, no, I am not getting paid for this endorsement—I am just a very satisfied customer):
Cinnamon • Grape • Chocolate • Peppermint • Root Beer • Apricot Nectar • English Toffee • Vanilla Creme • Valencia Orange • Lemon Drop • Chocolate Raspberry • Berry • Hazelnut
Stevia is an all-natural “dietary supplement” that has been used as a sweetener for centuries [here’s a little background on why the FDA, unfortunately, prohibits it from being labelled a “sweetener”]. SweetLeafâ„¢ claims to be the only 100%-natural, zero-calorie, zero-carbohydrate, zero-alcohol, zero-chemical, zero-glycemic index stevia sweetener available.
SweetLeaf Stevia is available at natural food stores, some grocery stores, and from Amazon and many other online retailers.

What a great idea! THANKFULLY I gave up pop a loooong time ago! I’ve totally lost the taste for it and rarely drink it anymore. Probably once a year Ill order a REAL cherry coke at a restaurant – yum!
You can break me of pop, but don’t you dare touch my shoe habit! 😀

I am so into this concept! Wonder how it would be if you blended up an apricot to add to it too? I seriously had no idea stevia came in so many flavors!

And I thought I had a nice collection of those pretty little bottles! LOL! This looks like such a great idea! What a fun treat! Would be perfect right now with this horrible heat!
Hope you had a great time on your trip!
Hugs!
Oh I love this! And you had me chuckling with the habit 😉 You also gave me a great idea! You know how they also have a root beer flavor? How about a root beer float with sparkling water, root beer stevia and coconut or cashew milk ice cream?! If I wasn’t about to go out of town I would make one tomorrow 🙂
Hi Lexie!! Thought I’d drop by to see what you’re cooking up. Personally, I love stevia. I’m not much for the flavors though I do love vanilla. Maybe it’s because I can be so plain Jane about my drinks – black coffee, water, and sometimes some herbal water when I’m tired of blah. 🙂 But you’ve got me thinking…I could jazz up my water with a little flavor. Hugs!!

where can you find these flavored stevia?

You can find SweetLeaf flavored liquid stevia at most natural food stores and some grocery stores. Whole Foods carries it. But the best selection is online. Try Amazon. I’ve purchased mine from them a few times. Just note that not all stores carry stevia in the baking aisle. Because the FDA has not approved it as a sweetener, it does not always sit on the same shelf as honey or sugar, but often in the dietary supplement section. Odd, I know.

SweetLeaf Stevia flavors are the best! I love the combination of lime, mint and apricot nectar stevia. Very refreshing and unique taste. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
