The Best Gluten Free Pizza Crust

September 5, 2013

Venice Bakery is putting out the best gluten free pizza crust in town! I am so enamored with the flavor and texture of these gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free and vegan pizza crusts. The best part? You can have them delivered!

I don’t know how they do it, but Venice Bakery has the art of ready-made gluten-free pizza crust down! I am so enamored with the flavor and texture of these gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, vegan pizza crusts that I just had to share them with you.

I was tipped off to Venice Bakery by a waiter at Dr. Weil’s True Food Kitchen in Denver. Venice Bakery, is the source for ready-made, gluten-free pizza crusts for the restaurant—and where I will be sourcing mine! Though I like Udi’s and Rudi’s, Venice Bakery’s pizza crusts beats the pepperoni off their competition.

Thanks to Venice Bakery, pizza night has made a comeback in our house—I just placed a bulk order. Little Man, who is not so little anymore, is turning six next month and he is all for the idea of making it a Trash Pack Pizza Party. We’ll set out 5″ crusts, pizza sauce and all kinds of crazy toppings that all kids love like spinach, marinated artichoke hearts, bell peppers, green olives, this pepperoni—any other ideas? We’ll offer shredded cheese for those who can do cheese and these cheesy shreds for those who can’t.

I haven't tried the pizza crust yet, but a friend shared their flatbread with me and that was delish! In fact, I made pizza out of that. 😉 It worked great. Thanks for the in-depth review, Lexie! Will share!

these are our favorite pizza crusts too! We love them. The little sample sizes are great for kids. I didn't know that the True Food Kitchen served Venice crusts. I ate at the Santa Monica location for the first time last weekend. It was amazing! There were four gluten and dairy free desserts to choose from. It blew us away. Of course, we ordered all four. 🙂

I couldn't find on their site info as to what these are made of and how many carbs they have. Do you happen to know?

Kathy, go to this link and click on that little flag that says "view nutrition facts" for carb count. The Original crust is made of: Rice Flour, Tapioca Flour, Water, Potato Starch, Potato Flakes, Olive Oil, Sugar, Yeast, Salt. Hope that helps. xoLexie
